Premium Tubers are: Foundation stock tested negative for TSV and TSWV.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: When purchasing our “High Quality” dahlia tubers from Windstone Farm’s signature “Virus Freer” High Quality stock you are getting dahlias that have had the Foundation stock tested negative for TSV and TSWV, but whose DMV status is either unknown (never tested) or are known to be positive. For each variety, where I have multiple foundation plants, I may have varieties with both known and unknown DMV status. If the precise testing status of a particular plant is important to you, please ask and I will provide you with the testing history.
High Quality tubers are a grade down from our Premium stock, but even so, they are much healthier than the standard US grown dahlias, where you can expect about 50% to be infected with TSV virus.
